Good morning, world! Here is a recipe for a super smoothie to start this day off RIGHT! Drink your lemon water first thing in the morning, and have the smoothie 30 minutes later or after your morning practice (it’s very filling). 


🔸A few chunks of pineapple
🔸One banana (I like to keep some cut up in the freezer, makes for a creamier smoothie!)
🔸Half an avocado 
🔸Kale - tare up the leaves but throw away the stalks (that can be pretty bitter)
🔸Raspberries - fresh or frozen, as long as they are organic (always get your berries organic!! They have no thick peel for protection and soak up pesticides like a sponge)
🔸A handful of soaked almonds 
🔸Coconut water 
🔸Your choice of super foods! I like maca, hemp, chia seeds, green powder, bee pollen, nutritional yeast, raw cacao, goji berries… So many choices! 

Put everything in the blender and begin mixing on low speed, adding the liquid (coconut water) poco a poco and increasing the speed of the blender until the consistency is smooth. Kale takes a while to dissolve so keep blending until your smoothie is super green! If you’re not using frozen bananas you might want to add some ice. This makes for one giant smoothie so enjoy a very filling first breakfast or share with a friend! Nom nom nom😊

28, 5’8” SW - 250(+?) CW - 165
I got these results from cleaning up my diet (no more sodas/fast food) and eating more real food.  I also have been off and on with the Turbo Fire program, walking (when the weather was nice), and wrangling babies (way more work than you think).  I’m really amping it up now that I’m close to my one year mark and will be posting more about my eats and workouts.  I do make mostly personal posts.  I’m recovering from disordered eating and would love to make some friends and be a positive influence :)  
You can recover, you can have kids and lose the weight!  Never let anyone tell you otherwise, and don’t tell yourself that :D
